Chandigarh : As the sun rose over Sukhna Lake, more than 350 participants gathered for AIESEC Chandigarh’s Global Goals Run, marking World Health Day through collective action and community spirit. The event featured 3.5 km and 7 km tracks, with categories including Run for Change, Walk for Change, and Champions with Disabilities, embracing inclusivity and purpose.
Winners were honored with medals, certificates, and prizes. In the 7 km run, Himanshu, Rajkumar, and Sujit secured the top three positions. Among wheelchair participants, Kumarsan, Ravi Kumar, and Rajan Dhakal led the 7 km race, while Madan Goyal and Vidya Kumari topped the 3.5 km wheelchair category. In Walk for Change, Raghav, Aarush, and Krish finished in the top three.
The event’s impact was amplified by partners who stood firmly behind the cause — not for promotion, but for purpose. Bettr Eggs led as the Title Partner, joined by RESET, Country Delight, and Honda, all championing the message of wellness and community well-being.
In a closing conversation, Vijaysaumuni, Chansal, Naman and Krishna from AIESEC Chandigarh shared, “This run was never just about fitness. It was about unity, inclusivity, and reminding everyone that change begins with a single step — together.”
What began as a morning run turned into a powerful reminder: that when people move with purpose, they move the world forward.
