Rahul Gandhi Under Fire for Bouncer Like Conduct- BJP MP Sarangi
In a sharp critique of Rahul Gandhi, BJP MP Aparajita Sarangi alleged that his conduct in Parliament was unbecoming of a Leader of the Opposition. Sarangi characterized Gandhi's behavior as aggressive and compared it to a "bouncer," arguing that such behaviour brings a lack of dignity to the practice of parliament.
The statements are made in the context of rising political friction as the Congress party ups the ante in its criticism of the central government on issues ranging from unemployment to inflation. Sarangi's remarks has led debate on decorum in the legislatures, BJP leaders backing the statement, while the Congress leaders have rejected it as false.
