18-Year-Old Girl Found Dead Under Mysterious Circumstances in Kulgam

Kulgam, April 16: In a tragic incident, an 18-year-old girl was found dead under mysterious circumstances in the Chadder area of South Kashmir's Kulgam district on Wednesday.

According to officials, the girl, a resident of Khrewan Chadder, was discovered unconscious at her home under unexplained conditions. She was immediately rushed to Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Qaimoh, where doctors declared her brought dead.

Authorities stated that the body was later shifted to Government Medical College (GMC) Anantnag for legal and medico-legal formalities. After completing the necessary procedures, the body was handed over to her family.

Meanwhile, police have initiated an investigation to ascertain the cause of death. Further details are awaited.
