12-yr-old girl found hanging in JK’s Baramulla district

Officials informed that the girl, a student in 8th class, was found hanging inside a cowshed near her house in the Hanjipora Hygam area of Sopore. The body was first found by her family members.

Afterward, the family informed the police after which a team arrived there and commenced the investigation. The initial probe indicates that the girl had committed suicide but the reason behind this extreme step from the girl was not known. 

A police official said that a case regarding the incident has been registered under the relevant law, and further investigation has already been initiated.
