24/7 CONTROL ROOM ESTABLISHED FOR AMARNATH YATRA PILGRIMS

Jammu and Kashmir government sets up control room to help pilgrims during Amarnath Yatra

The Jammu and Kashmir government has established a control room to help pilgrims during the Amarnath Yatra. The control room will be operational 24/7 from June 27 onwards. Pilgrims can call the helpline number or send an email for information or assistance.


The governor of Jammu and Kashmir, N N Vohra, inaugurated the control room during a visit to the Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board (SASB) office. He also reviewed the arrangements being made for the yatra with officials.


The yatra will commence from the twin tracks of Pahalgam and Baltal on June 29. The spokesman said that all necessary facilities for the pilgrims are being established in coordination with the various agencies and stakeholders
