In
an ongoing encounter between security forces and militants in North Kashmir’s
Baramulla district, at least three soldiers and a civilian were injured on
Thursday as per the officials.
After
getting the information about militants hiding in the Malwah area of Baramulla
in north Kashmir, a joint team of the police and security forces immediately
launched a cordon-and-search operation in the region, a police official said.
As
the search operation was going on, the security forces zeroed in on the spot
where militants were hiding. And soon these militants opened loads of fire upon
the security forces who retaliated in return.
