50-Year-Old Woman Critically Injured in Kulgam Road Accident

Kulgam, May 25: A 50-year-old woman sustained critical injuries after being struck by a scooty in the KBpora area of Kulgam district on Sunday, officials said.

The injured woman has been identified as Gulshana Akhter, wife of Mohammad Yousuf Malik, and a resident of KBpora, Kulgam. According to officials, the incident occurred when a scooty hit her, leaving her severely injured at the scene.

She was immediately taken to District Hospital Kulgam for emergency treatment. However, due to the severity of her injuries, she was referred to SKIMS Soura in Srinagar for specialized medical care.

Police have taken cognizance of the matter and have initiated an investigation into the incident.
