AN INFILTRATOR FROM PAKISTAN WAS NEUTRALIZED NEAR LINE OF CONTROL IN J&K s POONCH

An intruder from Pakistan was spotted near Mendhar area of Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch district. Soon after that security forces shot that person.

      From the sources an IED and some narcotic element was recuperated from the site.

   Notably , security checkings are enhanced ahead of G20 summit which will take place at Kashmir from 22nd to 24th May.Vehicles passing through the city are being randomly checked to ensure that no subversive elements manage to enter the city, the officials said, adding a three-layer security will be put in place for the event.
