Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday slammed the BJP government for not being able to prevent the killings of Kashmiri Pandits in Jammu and Kashmir. He urged the Centre to take effective steps to put an end to the killings.

"The BJP can't handle Kashmir; they only know how to do dirty politics. Please don't do politics over Kashmir," the Delhi CM said.

While addressing the Aam Aadmi Party's 'Jan Aakrosh Rally at Jantar Mantar in Delhi, Kejriwal also said that the targeted killings in the valley have forced the Hindus to leave their homes.

"The BJP government is not even allowing them (Kashmiri Pandits) to protest the killings. They are being confined, their rights being scuttled," he said.

The AAP chief also lashed out at Pakistan for its alleged involvement in inciting violence in Kashmir.

"The government has completely failed to provide security to the people living in Kashmir. This is similar to what happened in 1990. I want to tell Pakistan to stop petty tactics. Kashmir will always be part of India," he said.
