Srinagar, Dec 10 : A driver lost his life in a road accident in Sopore area of Baramulla district on Saturday.
An official told Kashmir Scroll that an Auto Driver died at Cherhaar near Arzan Sahib when his Auto bearing registration number JK05J-9436 fell down in deep george near Takiya Khan Mundji.
He said that the accident took place in the wee hours of Saturday and identified the deceased driver as Mudasir Ahmad Lone fom Cherhaar Sopore.
His dead body is being shifted to hospital for postmortem.
Meanwhile a team from Bomai Police station has arrived at the spot and they have taken cognizance of the matter.
Further investigation has been started, police said.(KS)
