Fire damaged traffic police headquarters in Srinagar and PS Kothibagh

Alarge fire broke out at the top level of theTraffic Police Headquarters building at around 04:30 a.m., citing an official.

According to the official, the top level of the Headquarters was partially damaged in the event, and all of the high-end equipment in the Traffic Control room was burned to ashes.  

The wireless portion of the police station was also partially damaged in the blaze, according to a PS Kothibagh employee.
