According to witnesses, the demonstrators were waving placards that stated, "our only demand is the relocation/deputation of all valley deployed migrant employees to any other place in India to stop our bloodshed."

"We make it plain that we will not accept any government decision affecting our safety and security unless we are relocated," the demonstrators shouted.

They chanted slogans demanding a stop to the "targeted killings" of Pandit community members. The demonstrators' primary demand is that they be relocated from Kashmir since they do not feel safe there.

"We have been protesting for the past ten days since we have not received any attention from the government." "Send us out of Kashmir; we are not here to die," a female protester stated.

"I'm not sure why the government hasn't woken up yet." "The administration has yet to take any tangible action to ensure our safety," claimed another protestor, Vinod.
