Officials stated on Saturday that the National Investigation Agency (NIA) is conducting raids in different sites across Kashmir Valley in connection with a case that has already been filed with the NIA
Raids are being carried out in Baramulla and Shopian in south Kashmir by NIA sleuths with the help of police and the CRPF.
Mushtaq Ahmad Bhat, son of Abdul Ahad Bhat, a resident of New Colony Fethpora Baramulla, was raided by the investigating agency. Mustaq works for the government at the education department.
The raid took place in the Shopian home of Ali Mohammad Bhat, son of Muradpora resident Ghulam Hassan Bhat.
Raids are also being carried out in other parts of the valley.
An official confirmed to KDC that raids are taking place in connection with a case that has already been filed with the NIA.
