In order to eradicate militancy in the valley, National Investigation Agency (NIA) has once again kicked off a fresh raid in several areas of Jammu and Kashmir.
On Wednesday, the NIA team with assistance from JK police arrested a person during the raid in SKIMS Soura hospital. The person arrested was identified as Irshad Ahmad Elahie. A resident of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district, Irshad was apprehended by the investigation agency in connection with the militancy case.

Also on June 16, the Baramulla district was also under the radar of NIA. The investigation agency in a joint operation raided several locations in the district. During the searches, electronic devices were also apprehended. one among many detainees was a salesman who was arrested for his alleged involvement in cross-border smuggling.
