NO TALKS WITH PAKISTAN; INSTEAD, I'LL SPEAK WITH J&K's YOUTH: HM SHAH

Today, Union Home Minister Amit Shah ruled out participating in any kind of conversation with Pakistan and reaffirmed the Modi administration's commitment to making Jammu and Kashmir the nation's most peaceful region by eliminating all forms of terrorism there.

Shah questioned whether terrorism had ever helped anyone while speaking to a large crowd in Baramulla, where 42,000 people have died as a result of the threat since the 1990s.

The HM declared that only with the youth of J&K will there be talks, not with Pakistan.

"Some people here talk about Pakistan. I want to inform them on the situation of the number of electrified villages in PoK today. In our Kashmir, electricity is now available in every village. In contrast to PM Modi, who from 2014 to 2022 has provided one lakh people in J&K with houses, Mufti and co., Abdullah, and his sons did not help Kashmir for 70 years.

"If somebody in your community supports terrorism, please let them know that Kashmir will not gain from terrorism. Democracy, the establishment of factories, and other economic projects will all benefit Kashmir, he claimed.

The home minister urged young people to stay away from guns and to choose a path of development rather than militancy.

Farooq Abdullah and Mehbooba Mufti were the targets of Shah, who charged that the Gupkar alliance had "layed a red carpet" for Pakistani terrorists to enter the nation.

Shah claimed that the PAGD approach had left the region's youth with guns, stones, and closed colleges while Prime Minister Narendra Modi's model had given them education.

Without Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he said, J&K could not prosper. Today, we have the best roads, bridges, rail connections, and hospitals, said Shah, who also noted that J&K has nine medical colleges in addition to AIIMS and nursing schools.
