Suspected Pakistani drone spotted in border area of J&K’s Samba district

Just five days ago, a Pakistani drone was shot down by the security forces in the Kathua district. It was on May 29 when a drone crossed the border and was hovering over the Indian side

On Friday another suspected Pakistan drone was spotted near the border area of Samba district of Jammu & Kashmir. immediately after the drone sighting, the security forces launched a search operation. 


So far, the security forces have not given any information about this latest drone spotting. But they have deployed a search party to investigate the drone. 


 The UT is witnessing a rise in the frequency of suspected drone sightings. Just five days ago, a Pakistani drone was shot down by the security forces in the Kathua district. It was on May 29 when a drone crossed the border and was hovering over the Indian side. The security forces shot down the drone. After examining, it was found that a payload was being carried by the drone.
