Prominent Sociopolitical personality of Jammu and Kashmir Syed Irfan Hashmi has deeply appreciated the Government move to name the important landmarks and institutions in Jammu and Kashmir after the names of martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the honor of nation.
He termed it as a historic move to infuse patriotism and love towards land.
He urged the Union Territory administration to name one important institution or landmark in Kashmir after
Wajahat Assadullah S/O Mohammad Assadullah Bhat R\O Watergam Wagoora, who was Martyred on 4th of March 2020 at warpora Sopore during duty.
He observed that best tribute would be to name High school Watergam wagoora on the name of this martyr.
Syed Irfan Hashmi opined that Wahahat Assadullah was a legendary persona and among the youngest martyrs of Jammu and Kashmir who fought enemies of nation with blood at just age of 22.
His love towards India was exemplary.
