After Indian government cuts fuel prices, Imran Khan lauds India for 'not giving in to US pressure'

The former PAK PM also took a dig at the current government led by Pakistan Muslim League (N)-led government. He slammed it by saying that the current government is "running around like a headless chicken with the economy in a tailspin"

Soon after India slashed petrol and diesel prices, Pakistan’s former Prime minister Imran Khan was all praises for India, lauding the country’s decision to buy Russian oil at a discounted rate. 



Khan highlighted that India purchased oil from Russia at discounted prices and didn’t surrender to the pressure imparted by the US.



“Despite being part of the Quad, India sustained pressure from the US and bought discounted Russian oil to provide relief to the masses,” Imran Khan tweeted.



Talking about his own country, Khan said that his government was also looking to adopt the same path. “This is what our govt was working to achieve with the help of an independent foreign policy,” said Khan.



The former PAK PM also took a dig at the current government led by 

Pakistan Muslim League (N)-led government. He slammed it by saying that the current government is "running around like a headless chicken with the economy in a tailspin".



 “Mir Jafars and Mir Sadiqs” bowed to external pressure forcing a regime change in Pakistan and accused them of “running around like a headless chicken with the economy in a tailspin”. He added.
