After a smashing victory against saffron party in Karnataka polls, opposition party leaders are on a willingness on defeat ruling party in upcoming loksabha polls. Bihar CM, Nitish Kumar is one of those oppositions who want to start a mission of uniting opposition party leaders ' Operation JODO' to fight for 2024 LS elections.

To fulfill this aim, today he will visit Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge.

Yesterday he met AAP chief and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal on the latter's residence. Nitish Kumar is trying to unite the oppositions.Yesterday he tried to make a truce between Congress and AAP who are arch rivals in Delhi and Punjab.

It got also evident from Karnataka CM's oath ceremony where the grand old party did not invite AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal.

Interestingly, the swearing-in ceremony of Siddhramaiah turned out to be a show of strength of the opposition parties where several leaders from the non-BJP camp were present, sans Kejriwal and West Bengal CM Mamta Banerjee.

Bihar CM also discussed the dates for holding the big opposition meeting in Patna as had been requested by Mamta Banerjee to him when both leaders met in Kolkata recently.

Nitish, during the meeting with Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi, is also likely to discuss the dates for the opposition meeting following which the date for holding the Opposition meeting in Patna will be decided. According to sources, the meeting may take place in the first week of June.
