Former CM Siddaramaiah and Shivakumar to meet Party top brass to discuss about CM post of Karnataka

After the victory in the polls of Karnataka, on May 13, the discussion over the post of CM is going on. The chief contenders are DK Shivakumar and Siddaramaiah.


     On May 16, DK Shivakumar who is one of the top claimants for the post of CM went to meet top party leaders of the grand old party in Delhi.


     On the other hand, Siddaramaiah had already arrived on the Nation's capital in May 15 with his supporters.


     It has been reported that the top leaders will hold a closed door meeting in the residence of Mallikarjun Kharge.Former party chief Rahul Gandhi too met Mr. Kharge and held closed-door talks with the Congress chief.


Digging his heels in, Mr. Shivakumar told central leaders that Mr. Siddaramaiah, while Leader of the Opposition (LoP) and while Chief Minister, had held his personal interests above that of the party’s.


Mr. Kharge will hold another round of meetings with the Congress leaders on May 17.
