Hindu temple in Pakistan’s Karachi vandalized, idols desecrated

In Pakistan, another act of atrocity against Hindus was witnessed when some extremists vandalized a Hindu temple in Karachi.

The Shri Mari Mata Mandir was attacked in the late hours on Wednesday and the Hindu priest, who resided in the temple was also attacked. The incident has sparked fear among the Hindu community living in the country.

Reportedly, a violent mob ravaged the residence of the priest and also harmed the idols present in the temple. So far, no arrests have been made in the case.

The attack took place only a few days after the idols were brought to the temple by the priest. 

As per the eyewitnesses, around six to eight people who came on motorcycles attacked the temple. “Five to six unknown suspects entered the temple and escaped after vandalizing it,” said Korangi SHO Farooq Sanjrani.
