The grand old party is in a dilemma of choosing the CM of the state of Karnataka. The chief contenders for thr post are:- Siddaramaiah and DK Shivakumar.
Congress has given the responsibility of choosing CM to their veteran leader Mallikarjun Kharge. It is likely that Kharge will reveal the name of the CM in 16th May. For last 3 days, the saga over the next Karnataka's chief minister has continued as the two aspirants have played an equally significant role in the victory of the Congress party in the recently held elections in which the party won 135 of the 224 assembly seats, defeating rival BJP brutally.
The supporters of both Siddaramaiah and DK Shivakumar were seen raising the slogans and demanding the Congress party to announce their leader as the Karnataka's CM. The clarity over the final decision from Mallikarjun Kharge is expected today.
