Mamata Banerjee mocks RSS chief’s Kolkata visit, "send sweets to him, but also ensure that there are no riots "

West Bengal Chief Minister, Mamata Banerjee took a dig at the RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat’s visit to Kolkata by asking asked the police to greet him with “sweets and fruits” while ensuring there are no "riots" during his four-day.



RSS chief will take mark his presence in RSS training camp, starting Tuesday and will continue for three weeks Keshiary.



“What is the purpose of the RSS pradhan's (chief) stay at Keshiary from May 17 to May 20? … "You can send him sweets and fruits on behalf of the administration. Let him realize how cordial we are with our guests,” Mamata Banerjee told a police officer while holding a review meeting with them.



“Provide him proper protection and also ensure that there are no riots," the Bengal CM Banerjee further told the inspector in charge of the Keshiary police station during the administrative meeting here.



Soon after the remark, Senior RSS functionary Debasis Chowdhury retaliated by saying, "It is interesting that Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has become curious of our socio-cultural activity ... At the same time, we urge her to visit Tablighi Jamaat camps run by Islamic organizations".
