Monkeypox virus seems to spread its tentacles as Israel, Switzerland and Austria also reported cases of the disease on Sunday. With this, the total number of countries reporting the Monkeypox ascends to 15.

On Saturday, the World Health Organization informed that 92 monkeypox cases had been reported across 12 countries, while 28 suspects cases are under investigation.

Monkeypox is a rare viral infection that spread through contact with wild animals like rodents and primates in parts of west or central Africa, according to the United Kingdom’s National Health Service.

The symptoms of the disease usually involve mild illnesses like fever high temperature, headache, backache, and a chickenpox-like rash.

Also, the United Kingdom’s National Health Service has emphasized that the rapid spread of the infection is rare because it can spread only coming in close contact with the infected person such as by touching the monkeypox skin blisters of the infected person.

Before the cases from the aforementioned three countries, the monkeypox cases were reported in Australia, Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, the United Kingdom, and the United States of America.
