In an interview with Sana Tv, Pakistan's interior minister Rana Sanaullah revealed that the current govt of Pakistan wanted to label Former Primer Minister's Imran Khan's party , 'Pakistan Tehreek -i - Insaaf' as a terrorist bracket.

He stressed that there is considerable proof against PTI to prove them as a terrorist group. He professed that around 250 citizens from Afghanistan were placed to give security to Imran Khan at his home at Zaman Park in Lahore. The Pakistan government has already furnished an ultimatum to Imran Khan to hand over the suspects allegedly holed up at his residence.

Rana Sanaullah also claimed the Afghan citizens were "strategically positioned", and evidence showed they could conduct targeted attacks. He said they were directed towards the Corps Commander House and Askari Tower.

The interior minister said several members of the PTI were being arrested based on cases registered against them.
