Pakistan: Suicide bomber targets security patrol, six killed including 3 children

Also, in a separate attack, gunmen riding on a motorcycle fired at two members of the minority Sikh community in a bazaar in the Peshawar suburb of Sarband. The victims suffered critical wounds and succumbed to injuries

An attacker detonates an explosive near a security force van, killing three soldiers and three children in northwest Pakistan near the border with Afghanistan, the military said in a statement.



A statement came from the Pakistan military on Sunday saying that a bomber triggered an explosives-laden vest near a security patrol vehicle in a village near the town of Mir Ali in the tribal district of North Waziristan.



The blast of high magnitude instantly killed two soldiers and wounded another. Also, three children who were playing there also suffered critical injuries. All the wounded were rushed to the hospital but all in vain as none could survive.



No terror organization claimed the responsibility for the attack and
