Passenger van falls into ravine in Pakistan, at least 22 dead

A passenger van fell into a deep ravine in southwest Pakistan on Wednesday leading to the death of at least 22 people. of 22 Nine deceased were members of one family.


The accident occurred at Quetta – Zhob highway in district Killa Saifullah 200 km (120 miles) from Quetta in Balochistan province. Reportedly, the accident took place because the vehicle was moving at a high speed.


Hafiz Qasim, district Commissioner of Killa Saifullah while talking to the media said, “Women and children are among those who died on the spot.”


Also, one passenger sustained severe injuries in the accident and was rushed to Civil Hospital Quetta. As per the reports, his condition is said to be critical.
