In the day's first rally in Karnataka's Mudibidri, PM Modi addressed the public and said that it would be unjust to give vote to Congress in the name of retirement of Siddaramaiah although BJP has done all the development in the state for last few years.

A Congress leader is seeking votes in the name of their retirement. His biggest poll plank is: 'This is my last election. Give me a chance. What a pathetic state they have reached!" Modi said in an election rally in the district headquarters town of Vijayapura.

He also added that he has resolved to make Karnataka number 1 in terms of overall development and progress among all Indian states. Thus he told " I know that the people of Karnataka will not choose a tired and defeated Congress but the BJP which is bubbling with enthusiasm".
