PM Modi visits UP, will lay foundation stone to 1,406 projects

Under the guidance of respected PM Narendra Modi ji, 'New India of New Uttar Pradesh' has become the best destination in the country for investment. The enthusiasm of investors towards Ground Breaking Ceremony 3.0 is direct proof of this. This ceremony is going to give flight to the aspirations of 'New Uttar Pradesh'

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has arrived in Lucknow and is all set to lay the foundation stone to 1,406 projects worth over ₹ 80,000 crores in Uttar Pradesh today, June 3. The project will include sectors like Agriculture and Allied, IT and Electronics, Defence and Aerospace, Handloom, etc.


The PM was welcomed by UP governor Anandiben Patel, CM Yogi Adityanath, and defense minister Rajnath Singh at the Lucknow airport.


Ahead of the PM’s visit to UP, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath tweeted, "Under the guidance of respected PM Narendra Modi ji, 'New India of New Uttar Pradesh' has become the best destination in the country for investment. The enthusiasm of investors towards Ground Breaking Ceremony 3.0 is direct proof of this. This ceremony is going to give flight to the aspirations of 'New Uttar Pradesh'."


The Prime Minister’s office said that the PM after landing in Lucknow would attend the ground Breaking Ceremony of the UP Investors Summit.


Also, PM Modi will accompany President Ram Nath Kovind to Pathri Mata Mandir followed by a visit to Dr. Ambedkar Bhawan.
