POWERFUL ALLIANCE FORMING: 24 PARTIES TO CONVERGE AT 2ND OPPOSITION UNITY MEET IN BENGALURU; MDMK, KDMK, MUSLIM LEAGUE JOINING FORCES!

Leading political parties from across the country are set to unite at the second Opposition Unity Meet in Bengaluru, marking a significant development in the political landscape. With the inclusion of influential parties such as MDMK, KDMK, and the Muslim League, this alliance is poised to challenge the ruling party’s dominance.

Bengaluru, July 12, 2023 – In a bold move aimed at reshaping the political landscape of India, 24 opposition parties have announced their convergence at the upcoming Opposition Unity Meet scheduled to be held in Bengaluru. The event, which marks the second gathering of its kind, is expected to bring together a formidable alliance that could pose a significant challenge to the ruling party.


The Opposition Unity Meet has gained significant momentum since its inception last year. Political parties from various states have come forward to bridge ideological differences and join forces against the ruling party. The inclusion of influential parties such as the Marumalarchi Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (MDMK), Kongunadu Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (KDMK), and the Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) has further strengthened the alliance.


The MDMK, led by prominent politician Vaiko, has a strong presence in Tamil Nadu. Known for its focus on regional issues, the party’s participation in the alliance is expected to resonate with voters in the state. The KDMK, led by E. R. Eswaran, has a significant support base in the Kongu Nadu region of Tamil Nadu. The Indian Union Muslim League, a prominent party representing the interests of Muslims in India, has also extended its support to the alliance. With a considerable presence in Kerala, the party’s inclusion is expected to consolidate the alliance’s position in the southern state.
