On Saturday, Congress leader promises to keep the 5 vows that were given to the commoners before Karnataka polls

After an emphatic victory against saffron party in Karnataka polls, CM's oath ceremony is taking place today. 


   At the swearing-in ceremony of the Congress-led Karnataka leadership on Saturday, senior leader Rahul Gandhi iterated the five poll promises of his party and said the time had arrived to implement the same. As many as eight Congress MLAs were sworn in as ministers at the oath-taking ceremony in Bengaluru wherein Siddaramaiah was inducted as the Chief Minister and DK Shivakumar was sworn in as Deputy Chief Minister.


    Rahul Gandhi, who is also an expelled MP from Wayanad reminding his promises told that the party will keep their vows given to the commoners before and in the first cabinet meeting the vows will become laws.


He added "We made 5 promises to you. I had said we don't make false promises. We do what we say. In 1-2 hours, the first Cabinet meeting of the Karnataka government will convene and in that meeting, these 5 promises will become law".
