Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has blamed a recent tweet by a Cabinet colleague who wants to be “freed” of his ministries on “work strain.”

On Thursday, MLA Ashok Chandna tweeted in Hindi, “Honourable Chief Minister, I have a personal appeal to you, that by releasing me from this harsh ministerial post, the charge of all my departments be transferred to Kuldeep Rankaji, because he is the minister of all departments anyway.” Thank you very much.”

In Rajasthan, Chandna serves as the Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs, Skill Development, Employment, Entrepreneurship, and Disaster Management and Relief.

In response to the post, Gehlot told reporters on Friday that Chandna was under a lot of strain at work. “He must have been tense when he said that.” It is not something we should take seriously. “I have yet to speak with him,” the Congress leader added of his reportedly irritated colleague.

In addition, the BJP is celebrating the Chief Minister’s public outburst. Satish Poonia, the party’s state president, tweeted that the Congress’ ship was sinking.

“This is an example of the ‘administration’ of the Ashok Gehlot government,” he told PTI. It demonstrates the party’s upper command’s vulnerability. It also demonstrates the power of bureaucracy over the government.”

Rajasthan ministers and MLAs, according to BJP MLA Vasudev Devnani, “do not have faith in the Congress government.”
