SHARAD PAWAR STEPS DOWN AS NCP PRESIDENT, ANNOUNCES RETIREMENT

During the release of Pawar's autobiography Lok Majhe Sangaayi - Political Autobiography", he declared that he will resign from the post of the national president of NCP. Although party workers have requested him to put consideration on his decision once again. They warned not to leave the site unless he repeal his decision.

 He promulgated a committee consisting of chief leaders like Praful Patel, Sunil Tatkare, K.K Sharma , P.C Chacko, Ajit Pawar , Jayant Patil, etc who will take charge of the party and move it forward. 

 Though as a Rajya Sabha member he has 3 more years to go, he promised that he would remain active in social politics as he had been through last 55 years. His decision shocked party workers as they burst to tears and pleaded him to reconsider it again.
