Just as exercise is essential for health, it is also necessary to follow some basic rules before exercising. These general rules help keep the body fit during exercise. Therefore, it is better not to deviate from these rules. In that case, everyone needs to be careful about what activities need to be avoided before exercising.


Things to avoid before exercising:

1. Eating too much: Never eat a full meal before exercising, as this prevents the food from being fully digested in the stomach. However, since exercising on an empty stomach is discouraged, you should eat a nutritious and healthy light meal at least two hours before exercising.


2. Drinking too much water: Although the idea of ​​drinking a few glasses of water before exercising seems right, it is completely wrong. In reality, this will cause more problems than benefits. Drinking too much water before exercising can reduce the salt levels in the blood and cause dizziness and nausea. For this reason, instead of drinking water right before exercising, you should drink water at regular intervals throughout the day and take care not to become dehydrated.


3. Stretching: Isn't stretching good before exercising? Many people may answer - good. But recent studies and experiments have shown that stretching before exercising increases the likelihood of pain and the body gets tired quickly. Therefore, instead of stretching before exercise, a light warm-up is the right method. Warm-up refers to light running or jumping.


4. Oversleeping: Just like eating and drinking, oversleeping can affect exercise. On the one hand, a short sleep can make the body fresh, on the other hand, a long sleep before exercise can cause a feeling of heaviness in the head, lack of energy for work, and lack of physical strength. For this reason, it can be taken for a short time at least an hour before exercise.


5. Taking painkillers: To prevent muscle soreness after exercise, many people take painkillers before starting exercise. But this is completely inappropriate and it creates the possibility of more problems. Therefore, painkillers should never be taken unnecessarily before exercise.
