At least four people were killed and three others injured in a tragic road accident in Hamirpur on Tuesday after a car collided with a truck, police said.
According to officials, the accident occurred when the car, carrying several passengers, reportedly lost control and crashed into an oncoming truck. The impact of the collision was severe, leaving four occupants dead on the spot. The injured were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Local police reached the scene soon after receiving information and initiated rescue operations with the help of residents. The bodies of the deceased were recovered and sent for post-mortem examination, while efforts are underway to ascertain their identities.
