A six-year-old boy tragically died after drowning in a water-filled pit in Greater Noida's Knowledge Park-2 area on Saturday, triggering outrage among residents over alleged negligence at the excavation site. The child reportedly fell into the deep pit, which had been dug for boring work and was left filled with rainwater without adequate barricades or warning signs.
The boy was rescued by family members and local residents and rushed to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
