The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) has asserted that democratic protests cannot be suppressed and announced that it will continue its nationwide campaign demanding transparency, accountability, and reforms in India's competitive examination system. The statement comes amid continuing nationwide concern over alleged irregularities in major entrance examinations and recent clashes during student demonstrations.

In a statement issued after the recent protests, the student organisation said that students have a constitutional right to raise their concerns peacefully and that genuine issues related to examinations should be addressed through dialogue rather than confrontation. ABVP maintained that democratic voices deserve to be heard and reiterated its commitment to standing with students seeking a fair and credible examination system.

The organisation also condemned the violence that erupted during recent demonstrations in New Delhi, where clashes between protesters and security personnel left several people injured. While expressing solidarity with students affected by examination irregularities, ABVP said that legitimate protests should not be hijacked by anti-social elements or political interests seeking to create unrest. It called for peaceful demonstrations and constructive engagement with authorities.

ABVP has demanded the constitution of a high-level committee to comprehensively review the country's competitive examination system. According to the organisation, the proposed panel should recommend time-bound reforms aimed at strengthening transparency, accountability, and institutional integrity in examinations conducted by agencies such as the National Testing Agency (NTA).

The student body said it had been among the first organisations to raise concerns over alleged examination irregularities and had organised protests outside the NTA headquarters demanding strict action against those responsible. It argued that repeated allegations of paper leaks and administrative lapses have shaken students' confidence and highlighted the urgent need for systemic reforms to protect the future of millions of aspirants.

Calling the examination crisis a matter of national importance, ABVP said its campaign would continue across universities and educational institutions throughout the country. The organisation plans to organise awareness programmes, student interactions, and demonstrations to keep pressure on policymakers until meaningful reforms are implemented.

The demand for examination reforms has gained momentum in recent months following allegations of irregularities in competitive entrance tests. Student groups across the political spectrum have called for greater transparency, faster investigations into alleged malpractice, and stronger safeguards to ensure that future examinations are conducted fairly. As the debate continues, all stakeholders agree that restoring trust in India's examination system remains essential for protecting the aspirations of millions of students.
