Union Home Minister Amit Shah will hold public meetings and roadshow in the capital on Saturday, January 25, before the Delhi Assembly polls in the first week of February.

Shah will have two public meetings and a roadshow at key locations in the city – first time public engagement before the 70 member Delhi Assembly elections on February 5.

Two public meetings will be held in Rajouri Garden and Trinagar Assembly segments and roadshow in Adarsh Nagar.

First public meeting will be in Rajouri Garden Assembly segment in the afternoon where Shah will address residents and party workers and talk about key issues and development plans.

Then he will participate in a roadshow in Adarsh Nagar Assembly segment which will pass through Keval Park to Ramlila Maidan. The roadshow is expected to have good public participation as Shah is already doing outreach.

The day will end with a second public meeting at DDA Park in Netaji Subhash Palace in Trinagar Assembly segment in the evening. This will be another opportunity for Shah to connect with public and talk about future plans for Delhi if BJP comes to power after the Assembly polls.

70 Assembly seats – 58 general and 12 SC. Voting will be in one phase on February 5 and counting on February 8. Delhi Assembly term ends on February 23, 2025.
