As Union home minister Amit Shah is geared up for his visit to Hyderabad on Saturday, May 14, the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) has unleashed an attack against the BJP over the latter’s failure to fulfill the promises.

The ruling TRS working president and minister KT Rama Rao (KTR) wrote an ‘open letter’ to Amit Shah, while party Member of the Legislative Council (MLC) and daughter of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR), K Kavita, raised questions against the home minister’s visit.

MLC Kavitha posted a list of questions pointed to Amit Shah, on Saturday, May 14.

She tweeted, “Amit Shah Ji, please tell the people of Telangana when will the central government clear Rs 3000 crores of dues of Finance Commission grant, Rs 1350 crore of Backward Region grant and the pending GST Compensation of Rs 2247 crore to Telangana.”

She also slammed the government over the skyrocketing inflation, record-breaking unemployment in the country, the maximum communal riots under the BJP, and sky-high fuel and LPG prices.

Kavitha also urged the Union Minister Amit Shah to tell the people of Telangana why the center couldn’t give Telangana a single IIT, IIM, IISER, IIIT, NID, Medical College, or Navodaya school in the past 8 years?
