Congress president Sonia Gandhi in the party ‘'Nav Sankalp Chintan Shivir’ discussed the action plan for the second phase of the mass contact programme to take on the policies of the government. The meeting also involved talks on rising inflation and unemployment in the country.
The meeting, presided by Sonia Gandhi, included All-India Congress Committee general secretaries, Pradesh Congress Committee presidents, and legislature party leaders. the meeting was held in Udaipur, Rajasthan.
During 'Nav Sankalp Chintan Shivir’, former Congress president Rahul Gandhi also gave his suggestions for the next stage of the action plan for ‘Jan Jagran Abhiyan'.
The Congress launched the mass agitation/contact programme - 'Jan Jagran Abhiyan' to highlight several issues, including unemployment, inflation, recession, and farm distress.
Senior Congress leaders across the country are attending this three-day brainstorming meeting to map the party’s future strategies on major issues and refurbish the organization.
