Raipur: In a shocking incident, unidentified gunmen shot dead the son of a local Congress leader and injured another person in Chhattisgarh on Friday, police officials said.
According to preliminary reports, the attack took place when the victims were travelling through a locality and were suddenly ambushed by armed assailants. The attackers opened fire at close range, killing one person on the spot while critically injuring another. The injured victim was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he is currently undergoing treatment.
