Fresh controversy has erupted in Murshidabad after a victim in a crude bomb attack levelled serious allegations against local political figure Humayun Kabir, intensifying tensions in the region.
According to the victim’s statement, the attack was not random but allegedly orchestrated, with claims linking individuals close to Humayun Kabir to the incident. The victim, who sustained injuries in the blast, has accused the leader of indirect involvement, demanding a thorough and impartial investigation.
The crude bomb attack, which took place recently in a sensitive pocket of Murshidabad, left multiple people injured and triggered panic among residents. Eyewitnesses reported hearing a loud explosion, followed by chaos as locals rushed to safety.
