Gujarat Titans lifts IPL 2022 trophy, messages for Titans deluges social media

On Sunday, Gujarat Titans fulfilled their dream by lifting the IPL trophy in their debut season. the Hardik Pandya-led team outclassed Rajasthan Royals in the finals and secured a title for themselves. 



Gujarat Titans’ Captain Pandya showed his bowling prowess and took three wickets and made things a bit easy for the Titans.  



Batting first Rajashtan Royals scored 130 runs in 20 overs. In return, Gujarat Titans chased the target and won by scoring 133 runs in the 19th over.

    


As soon as the Gujarat Titans’ lifted the trophy, the internet was flooded with appreciation and congratulations.



Legendary Batsman Sachin Tendulkar congratulated the team on its success in its debut season. 



“A title wins for the Titans! Undoubtedly the most consistent team of the tournament. Well played and many congratulations,” Tweeted Tendulkar.



Yuvraj Singh also took to tweeter to pat the back of the Gujarat Titans for their victory.



“Congratulations Gujarat Titans & support staff! Arguably the best team this season!



Outstanding tournament for @hardikpandya7 & @ShubmanGill. Not long b4 he gets into the T20 national side ???????? Last but not the least #Nehraji haste-hansate cup utha liya”.



Former Indian Opening batsman, Virender Sehwag was also all praise for Gujarat Titans for their impressive performance in the season.



“What a dream debut season for Gujarat Titans. @hardikpandya7 has been brilliant as a leader and player. This has been a fantastic IPL and great to see a new champion. Jos Buttler was in a league of his own and Rajasthan Royals can be proud of their season.”
