Hardik Patel says ‘bye bye’ to Congress, alleges “Congress management “strongly dislikes Gujarat and has no interest in the state”

Young leader Hardik Patel parts ways with the Congress today and gave the grand party big reason to worry as the Gujarat election is just a few months away.



Patel sent his resignation to Congress president Sonia Gandhi, in which he took a jibe at Rahul Gandhi by writing that “our leader was abroad when he was most needed in India”.



He further took a dig at the party leader by writing, “When I met top leaders, they seemed distracted by their mobile phones and other issues as opposed to listening to issues concerning Gujarat.”



Patel also slammed the party by saying that the Congress management “strongly dislikes Gujarat and has no interest in the state”. in his resignation letter, he further mentions that “the Congress has been rejected in virtually every state because they have no roadmap to present to the people.”



Hardik Patel, a Patidar activist, joined Congress in 2019, days before the 2019 Lok Sabha Election. During his stint with Congress, he acted as the Operating President of the Congress in Gujarat.
