Prashant Kishor, a leading poll analyst of the country, gave his opinion on Congress's three-day Chintan Shivir in Rajasthan's Udaipur and said the session has been futile and hasn’t achieved anything significant.

To comment on the Congress meeting he took to Twitter, saying, "I’ve been repeatedly asked to comment on the outcome of #UdaipurChintanShivir. In my view, it failed to achieve anything meaningful other than prolonging the status-quo and giving some time to the #Congress leadership, at least till the impending electoral rout in Gujarat and HP!"

Chintan Shivir, a three-day session, was held by the Congress party and attended by senior leaders including Sonia Gandhi and her son Rahul Gandhi. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the plans for the 2024 assembly polls and the electoral challenges.

The meeting came after the thumping defeat of the grand party in recent assembly polls in five states. The meeting also discussed refurbishing the party and gearing up for upcoming elections.
