New Delhi, July 7, 2023: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to embark on an exciting two-day trip to Chhattisgarh and Uttar Pradesh, during which he will unveil several project milestones aimed at accelerating the development of these states. The visit comes as part of the government’s ongoing efforts to transform the country and ensure inclusive growth.

In Chhattisgarh, the Prime Minister will inaugurate the much-anticipated National Institute of Technology (NIT) in Raipur. This prestigious institution will provide world-class education and research opportunities to students in the field of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). The NIT is expected to become a catalyst for technological advancements in the region and contribute to the overall growth of Chhattisgarh.

Furthermore, PM Modi will lay the foundation stone for the expansion of the Bhilai Steel Plant, one of the largest steel production facilities in the country. The expansion project aims to increase the plant’s capacity, thereby boosting steel production and creating numerous job opportunities for the local population. This initiative aligns with the government’s vision of making India self-reliant and strengthening the manufacturing sector.

From Chhattisgarh, the Prime Minister will proceed to Uttar Pradesh, where he will inaugurate the Lucknow Metro’s Phase 2A. This new section of the metro network will connect important areas of Lucknow, facilitating smooth and efficient transportation for residents and reducing traffic congestion. The Phase 2A project will not only enhance connectivity but also contribute to the reduction of air pollution and promote sustainable urban development.

In addition to the metro inauguration, PM Modi will also launch the ambitious Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) in Uttar Pradesh. The PMAY aims to provide affordable housing to millions of underprivileged families across the country. The launch of this program in Uttar Pradesh will enable thousands of families to fulfill their dream of owning a home, thus improving their quality of life and contributing to the government’s vision of “Housing for All.”

The Prime Minister will also address a gathering of farmers in Gorakhpur, emphasizing the government’s commitment to rural welfare and agricultural reforms. He is expected to announce several measures to support farmers, including the expansion of agricultural infrastructure, implementation of innovative farming techniques, and the provision of financial assistance to enhance productivity.

During his visit, PM Modi will hold meetings with state government officials and stakeholders to discuss various development projects and assess their progress. These meetings will enable him to gather firsthand information on the ground reality and make necessary interventions to expedite the implementation of these projects.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s trip to Chhattisgarh and Uttar Pradesh holds great significance in the government’s endeavor to propel these states towards rapid and inclusive growth. The unveiling of these project milestones will not only enhance infrastructure but also provide a much-needed impetus to the economy, generating employment opportunities and improving the overall standard of living for the people.
