Student leader Ravindra Paswan has appealed to protesters to maintain peace and follow constitutional norms ahead of the planned Vidhan Sabha march, as student demonstrations over recruitment-related issues continue to gather momentum.

Addressing students and supporters before the march, Paswan urged participants to remain disciplined and ensure that the protest stays peaceful. He stressed that their demands should be raised through democratic and constitutional means rather than through confrontation.

The appeal comes amid heightened tension surrounding the students' agitation. Protesters have been demanding action over alleged irregularities in competitive recruitment examinations, including allegations of question-paper leaks and other lapses in the examination process.

The proposed march towards the state Assembly is being seen as a major escalation in the students' campaign. Organisers have called on a large number of aspirants to participate, while authorities have stepped up security arrangements around key areas of the capital.

Paswan said the movement should remain focused on the concerns of students and job aspirants. He appealed to participants not to damage public property or engage in clashes with security personnel.

The student groups have maintained that they are seeking accountability, transparency and a fair recruitment process. They have also demanded that examinations affected by alleged irregularities be reviewed and that action be taken against those responsible.

The government, meanwhile, has urged protesting students to hold discussions with the authorities and resolve their grievances through dialogue. Officials have warned that any attempt to disrupt public order or forcibly enter restricted areas could lead to police action.

The march is expected to put further pressure on the government to respond to the students' demands. With thousands of young aspirants preparing for government jobs, the issue has attracted considerable attention across the state.

As the protest movement enters another crucial phase, Paswan's call for peace and constitutional conduct is aimed at ensuring that the demonstration remains orderly while allowing students to firmly voice their demands.

Authorities are expected to closely monitor the situation around the Assembly and other sensitive locations during the march. The outcome of the demonstration could determine whether the government and student representatives return to the negotiating table for further discussions.
