Shaina NC of Shiv Sena on Thursday said a BJP win in Delhi assembly election would be "historic" for the party
"Delhi has 60.42 per cent voting and I am absolutely sure this is a mandate for PM Modi and NDA which will win with the highest ever numbers despite not being in power for 27 years. This will be a historic mandate..," she said.
She attacked AAP saying voters have chosen stability and good governance over Arvind Kejriwal's leadership. She said the NDA government has shown proactive political will at the centre and in Delhi too.
"For all those who think Arvind Kejriwal should win or has worked I want to say this is the time when voter has decided for stability, good governance and proactive political will which NDA government has shown repeatedly at the centre and now in Delhi too...," she said.
Meanwhile most of the exit polls predicted BJP will form the next government in Delhi with AAP behind and Congress to continue its losing streak in the assembly polls.
Exit polls varied on the margin of BJP's victory. One poll predicted BJP will win 51-60 seats, two polls predicted AAP victory. Exit polls were released after the polling ended on Wednesday.
