Congress leader Supriya Shrinate on Monday launched a sharp attack on the BJP-led governments at the Centre and in Uttar Pradesh over the alleged irregularities in donations collected for the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. Referring to recent allegations surrounding the handling of temple-related funds, she claimed that the “double-engine government has presided over double corruption,” intensifying the political battle over the issue.
Addressing a press conference, Shrinate alleged that questions were being raised about transparency and accountability in the management of donations linked to the Ram Mandir project. She demanded a thorough investigation into the allegations and urged the government to disclose all relevant financial details to the public.
