AAP national convenor Arvind Kejriwal today launched a broadside against the BJP saying it has resorted to “goondaism” as Delhi Assembly polls near.
At a press conference, Kejriwal said AAP is heading for a “big win” on February 5 and that has left BJP leaders, especially Union Home Minister Amit Shah, “confused and desperate”.
“AAP is winning and Amit Shah is confused. BJP is doing goondaism because they can sense defeat,” Kejriwal said. He also accused BJP workers of threatening and beating AAP volunteers and supporters.
“Our leaders and supporters are being threatened to join BJP or be arrested and beaten. But we can’t be scared,” he said, adding that Delhi won’t tolerate such “intimidation”.
In response to the threats, Kejriwal launched a new social media campaign with hashtag ‘AmitShahKiGoondagardi’ on X.
He asked people to share their experience of being “attacked, threatened or intimidated” using the hashtag.
“BJP has no vision for Delhi. no chief ministerial candidate, no development agenda. All they have is goondaism. They want to win through fear, not votes,” Kejriwal said, as he asked Delhiites to unite against BJP to save Delhi and its democracy.
